Operations & Finance Executive Assistant – JB255

Johannesburg

R20 000 – R35 000 per month

 

Kontak Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Operations and Finance Executive Assistant to support the client’s executive team. The candidates will mostly manager diverse business – related tasks for the rest of the management team. This is a unique position that involves work for multiple companies within one group, largely within industrial holdings. Travelling between 2 offices will be required- travelling between Midrand and Kempton Park

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in finance and accounting. Courses in corporate governance or auditing would be useful.

At least 3-4 years within a similar sort of role

In-depth understanding of the entire Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook) and Dropbox, and a willingness to learn to operate other basic software as needed.

Strong inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to fit into a fast-paced work environment.

The ability to work and think independently on given duties or jobs. This extends to the ability to set and meet deadlines.

A pro-active approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Most importantly, the candidate should show a strong willingness to learn and fill gaps in their skills or knowledge.

 

Responsibilities

Performing of valuations and due diligence on prospective investments.

Preparing a wide range of documentation for capital raised, rights issues etc.

Assisting in the due processes followed in the business in terms of contracts, legal compliance,

Reviewing of management accounts.

Assisting the Managing Director and Financial Director with any research or assistance required.

Researching and collecting industry data, and processing to form meaningful information to assist in decision-making.

Compiling meaningful cost and revenue studies from basic company documents such as quotes and invoices.

Preparing of quotes

Compiling reports and presentations for investors, shareholders, directors and others from relevant accounts, reports, research and documents.

Assisting with the marketing of various companies within the group – as an intermediary with external marketers or by managing basic in-house marketing functions such as LinkedIn pages.

Maintaining strong communication with all parties you interact with, including marketers, suppliers and colleagues to minimise resource-wastage.

Providing other general administrative support.

This is a dynamic role that will evolve as the company grows

 

 

Additional:

No set strict work hours – the position is very task-based, not time-based.

Location will be director-based, between Kempton Park and Steyn City and any future companies/sites the company may invest in.
