Digital Marketer (JB297)

Pinetown, Durban

R15 000 – R25 000 Per Month neg

 

Kontak Recruitment is currently recruiting and hiring for a Digital Marketer vacancy based in Pinetown/ Westville Durban for a large academic/education services provider.

 

Educational Requirements for Digital Marketer:

Grade 12

Relevant tertiary in marketing/digital marketing

 

Digital and social media:

create content for social media posts

handle all social media and website marketing updates and social media networking; as well as handling drawing designs and updates

keep up to date with current digital trends

assess opportunities for digital advertising

 

SEO:

drive traffic to the company’s online site through maintaining the company’s social media platforms

create visually appealing and online appropriate content

design website banners and web visuals

create content for website to increase SEO / Google ranking

 

Design and print media:

design and develop digital marketing projects and campaigns

develop web banners, images, adverts, brochures and email campaigns

create print advertisements for flyers using design programs

write and design newsletters, direct mail campaigns and print advertisement

creating and uploading copy and images for the organisation’s website

write and dispatching email marketing campaigns

build relationships with media suppliers, to gain online exposure and promote the various brands

 

Marketing:

facilitate the arranging of special promotions, displays, demonstrations and events

improve brand awareness which include liaising with local schools, newspapers and the community in general

create a fun and exciting browsing experience for all sales avenues

create new ways for customers to notice service offerings

monitor what local competitors are doing.

 

Innovation and change:

act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality

be proactive

plan and prepare for the change (all risks assessed and addressed before implementation)

implement change and follow through

prepare and complete action plans for improved productivity and quality

identify and resolve problems

determine system improvements

new product development

 

Reporting and record keeping:

maintain an up to date and accessible record keeping system

make sure that records are based on what happened, authentic, based on facts and not fabricated

 

General:

negotiating with media suppliers to achieve the best price for the organisation

Update online pricing and description to ensure information is accurate always

attend Level 1 meeting - active participation, problem solving, ideas, working together effectively, teamwork, communication leading to improved overall company scores

timely and accurate dissemination of information

execute the strategy and content plan for all brands including competitions, giveaways and other promotions

provide clear and regular feedback to management on the results achieved

take accountability for my work and honour promises to customers

respond to all digital customer communication fast and efficient
